His children adored him, too, and they are comforted with knowing how much he loved them.īrandon had hundreds of doctors, nurses, technicians, and aides at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie, Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, West Chester Medical Center in Valhalla, and Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw who gave him the best care possible and enabled him to fight his illnesses as long as he did. They meant everything to him and he loved them with all his heart. The joy of his life were his twins, Michael and Madison. One of his favorite things to do was go to Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY, to see the annual “Night of Fire” when they raced jet propelled dragsters and tractor-trailer trucks as well as street rods, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. His prized possession was his 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, which was equipped with hand controls which enabled him to be able to drive it. One of the most fun times of his life was playing in the Highland Little League and Senior League programs with all his great teammates. He loved sports, cars, ATV’s, movies, music, and great restaurants. He is survived by his parents, his beloved twin children Michael and Madison Richter, age 17, his grandmother Geraldine Malgieri of Saugerties, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27th, 10:00 AM at St. Rosemary is survived by her mother, Barbara (Lauria) Trapani, daughter, Joanne (Sinagra) Lesser and husband Edward, granddaughter, Roseanne (Lesser) Saso and husband Brett, brother, Anthony Trapani, and niece, Tamara Trapani.Ĭalling hours will take place on Wednesday, April 26th, from 4-8 PM, at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main St. She was a loyal and generous friend to many and will be dearly missed. Rose was an active dance-grandma and loved going to performances and competitions, even participating in a dance routine herself. Rose enjoyed cooking, entertaining her family and friends, and playing cards. Augustine’s Food Pantry and Religious Education programs, she was the treasurer of the Town of Lloyd Democratic Committee, and the president of the Mid-Hudson Senior Citizens. Rose was also an active member of her community. In her retirement, she worked as an assistant bookkeeper for the Town of Lloyd. Rose enjoyed a long career with Dutchess County Department of Social Services, and during her tenure there, she was the president of Dutchess County CSEA Local 814. She was the daughter of Barbara (Lauria) Trapani and the late Alfonse Trapani. Rosemary was born on May 5, 1944, in Poughkeepsie, NY. Rosemary “Rose” or “RoRo” Sinagra, 78, a longtime resident of Highland, passed away on April 23, 2023, surrounded by her family.
